iRayUSA RICO MICRO PICTAIL Helmet/Weapon Shoe

The PICTAIL mounting system is the combination of a standard dovetail shoe commonly used on helmet mountable night vision optics and the MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail used on weapons platforms.

The synergy of these two mounting formats creates a system that is more accurate and versatile on a rifle while maintaining all dovetail capabilities on a helmet. The PICTAIL is compatible with standard dovetail receptacles used in helmet mounting interface hardware made by Wilcox, KVC, and others.

The counterpart to the dovetail side of the PICTAIL shoe is MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail specially designed with one slot that interfaces with the ADM MQD mount. The PICTAIL and MQD mount work in tandem to achieve an adjustable footprint on any standard picatinny rail. In standalone optic mode they produce over 4.5 inches of rear offset, and when reversed for use in clip-on mode the MQD and PICTAIL shrink the rear offset to just 1.5 inches. In clip-on mode the required forward rail space is just 4 rail slots in front of a day optic making the PICTAIL and MQD the perfect combination for shorter platforms like SBRs and pistols.

DMAX14 | Thermal J-Arm with Rotating DOVETAIL

DMAX14™ is a rigid, incredibly lightweight, and all-metal night vision J-arm for dovetail-equipped thermal monoculars such as the Infiray RH25 and Trijicon SkeetIR. It includes a rotating knuckle which provides a tight stow against the helmet and also allows the monocular to be temporarily swung away from the eye. At 1.4 oz total, it weighs less than a polymer milspec J-Arm, yet its structure is composed entirely of the highest-performing 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for industry-leading durability.

An intuitive, friction-based mechanism allows users to swing their monocular in front of either the left or right eye and perfectly adjust for interpupillary distance, while a slight rearward sweep of the inner arm helps position the monocular eyepiece closer to one’s eye and provides greater compatibility for those with larger helmets. A tether point is also featured on the rear to keep the entire system secure. Attach a monocular, snap the complete assembly into a dovetail-style helmet mount like the Wilcox® G24, and enjoy. US-made protective vinyl camouflage wraps, made by NOCORIUM, are available for purchase as an accessory. You can buy the wraps separately right here. Be aware that the wrap was designed for the MAX14 (designed for the PVS-14 monocular), and some of the included vinyl pieces cannot be installed on DMAX14.
