Please read carefully before placing your order.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- ✅ Unused & Unopened Items — Must be in original factory-sealed packaging with all accessories, manuals, lens caps, and protective covers included
- ✅ Defective Items — Products with manufacturer defects are fully covered at no cost to you
- ✅ Wrong Item Sent — If we ship the wrong product, we correct it immediately at our expense
- ✅ Change of Mind — Accepted within our return window provided the item is unused and unopened
Items NOT eligible for return:
- ❌ Items that have been mounted, zeroed, activated, or used in the field
- ❌ Items returned after the 30-day return window
- ❌ Items missing original packaging, accessories, manuals, or lens covers
- ❌ Items with physically damaged lenses or housing caused by customer
- ❌ Items with tampered or removed serial numbers
- ❌ Software-activated or registered devices once activated
- ❌ Nitrogen-purged optics with broken seals
- ❌ Special order, custom-configured, or clearance items
2. Return Window
All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date confirmed by carrier tracking.
Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.
3. Return Shipping
Thermal Vision Gear provides FREE prepaid return shipping labels on all eligible returns.
- We email you a prepaid label once your return is approved
- Always use the provided label — unauthorized returns may be refused
- Use original packaging whenever possible to protect precision optics
- Items damaged due to improper return packaging may not qualify for a full refund
- Orders valued at $1,000+ are returned via insured carrier with adult signature required
4. How to Start a Return
Follow these simple steps:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery by email or phone
- Provide your order number and the reason for your return
- Wait for approval — we review all requests within 1–2 business days
- Receive your prepaid shipping label via email
- Pack your item securely using original packaging if available
- Ship the item using the provided label
- Receive your refund once we inspect the returned product
5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of the outcome.
If approved:
- Refund issued within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item
- Refund sent to your original payment method
- Allow an additional 3–7 business days for your bank to process the refund
If rejected:
- You will be notified with the reason
- Rejected items will be returned to you at your expense
6. Defective Items
If your product arrives with a manufacturer defect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos or video clearly showing the defect
- We will arrange a free replacement with priority shipping OR issue a full refund — your choice
- All return shipping costs are covered by us
Important: Manufacturer defects are fully covered. Damage caused by misuse, dropping, or improper handling is not covered under this policy but may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
7. Wrong Item Received
If you received an item that does not match your order:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery
- We cover 100% of return shipping costs
- Correct item shipped with priority shipping at zero cost to you
- Full refund issued immediately if the correct item is unavailable
8. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping:
- Photograph the damaged packaging and product immediately upon receipt
- Keep all packaging — required for carrier insurance claims
- Contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number
- We file the carrier claim and arrange a replacement or full refund
9. Manufacturer Warranties
Many of our products carry manufacturer warranties beyond our 30-day return window:

10. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. To get a different product:
- Return your original item following the steps above
- Place a new order for the correct product at thermalscopehub.shop
11. Order Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled before shipment at no charge
- Contact us immediately with your order number to cancel
- Once shipped, the order must go through the standard return process
- Orders of $2,000+ that are already processing for shipment — contact us immediately for assistance
12. Restocking Fee
Thermal Vision Gear charges no restocking fees on any eligible return. What you paid is what you get back.
13. Non-Returnable Items — Special Notice
Due to the specialized nature of thermal and night vision technology, the following cannot be returned:
- Scopes that have been mounted to a firearm or zeroed
- Devices with broken nitrogen purge seals
- Products that have been registered or software-activated
- Items with missing or tampered serial numbers

Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
