At Thermal Vision Gear, we understand that when you invest in premium thermal and night vision equipment, you need it delivered safely, securely, and on time. Our shipping process is designed to protect your investment from warehouse to doorstep.
1. Shipping Destinations
Thermal Vision Gear ships to all 50 US states, including:
- ✅ Continental United States (48 states)
- ✅ Alaska
- ✅ Hawaii
We currently do not ship internationally. All orders must be shipped to a valid US address.
We do not ship to:
- PO Boxes (due to size and carrier restrictions on optics equipment)
- APO/FPO military addresses
- US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands)
- Freight forwarding addresses
2. Shipping Rates
We offer transparent shipping on all orders:

3. Delivery Timeframes
We process and ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Please note: Thermal scopes, night vision devices, and precision optics require careful packaging and handling. Processing may take up to 2 business days to ensure your equipment is properly secured for transit.
Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, or high-volume periods (holidays) are outside our control.
4. Order Processing
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on business days are typically processed the same day
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day
- You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched
- Signature may be required on high-value orders ($500+) for security purposes
5. Shipping Carriers
We ship using trusted US carriers including:
- UPS — primary carrier for most orders
- FedEx — used for express and large equipment
- USPS Priority — used for smaller accessories and parts
The carrier used will be selected based on your location, package size, weight, and fastest available delivery option. Carrier details will be included in your shipping confirmation email.
6. Special Handling — Precision Optics
Thermal scopes and night vision devices are precision instruments. We take extra care to ensure safe delivery:
- All optics are double-boxed with foam protection
- Lenses are capped and secured before shipping
- High-value items ($1,000+) require adult signature upon delivery
- Insurance is included on all orders over $500
We strongly recommend inspecting your package immediately upon delivery and reporting any visible damage within 48 hours.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package directly on the carrier’s website.
If you have not received a tracking number within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.
8. Incorrect Shipping Address
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Thermal Vision Gear is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
If you realize you’ve entered an incorrect address:
- Contact us immediately at the email or phone number below
- If the order has not yet shipped, we will update the address at no charge
- If the order has already shipped, additional re-routing fees may apply
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you have not received it:
- Check around your property and with neighbors
- Wait 24 hours — carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered prematurely
- Contact us if the package still has not arrived after 24 hours
Claims for lost packages must be submitted within 7 days of the marked delivery date. We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.
Note: Due to the high value of our products, we strongly recommend requiring a signature upon delivery. Contact us before placing your order to arrange this at no additional cost.
10. Damaged Packages
If your order arrives visibly damaged:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and item immediately upon receipt
- Do not discard damaged packaging — it is required for carrier claims
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number
- We will file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement or full refund promptly
11. Export & Legal Compliance
Thermal imaging and night vision devices are subject to US export regulations. All sales are for US domestic use only. By placing an order, you confirm you are a US resident purchasing for lawful domestic use in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
12. Shipping & Our Return Policy
Our shipping policy works hand-in-hand with our Refund and Return Policy:
- Approved returns ship back to us via FREE prepaid label
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving your return
- Wrong items sent by us are replaced with priority shipping at no charge
